the midlands in offaly has a a range out to 1200m, there are'nt that many and i think that one would be the closest to you. you can't just show up and shoot though you need to be a member of the range and have insurance. I'm sure someone else will be able to give you some better info.

Midlands have the longest range in the country where you can shoot out to 1200 yards. They have other ranges too and facilities for pistol and clay shooting.

Alot of the other places are limited to .22 or pistol shooting.

OK I'm bit biased, but Harbour House has just held the Internationals there for Ireland, Germany and UK teams and individuals. It was a brilliant and well executed event by HH & the NASRPC. It had over 140 competitors and everyone was accommodated no matter what discipline they wanted to shoot.
There are a number of ranges, one, a brand new dedicated pistol range to 25m, a 50 m gallery rifle/pistol (rf & cf) and also a 50m BR range. It also has archery and shotgun grounds. Now if that doesn't warrant the membership fees I don't know what does. See you on the line. LB6 ![]() |
